Another player kicks my ball away: what now?
In stroke play your ball lies on the fairway. Another player walks past and accidentally kicks it a short distance. What is the ruling?
Answer
You replace the ball on its original spot without penalty
In stroke play another player is an outside influence. If they move your ball at rest, nobody gets a penalty. You replace the ball on its original spot. If you do not know the exact spot, you estimate it.
