Rules question · Rule 4.1a · Hard

Can I adjust my adjustable driver during the round?

After three holes you change the loft of your adjustable driver and tee off with it. What is the ruling?

Answer

You are disqualified

During a round you must not deliberately change a club’s performance characteristics, including with a driver’s adjustable features. If you make a stroke with the changed club, you are disqualified. If you restore it to its original setting before the stroke, there is no penalty.
