Club damaged during a stroke: can I replace it?

During a normal stroke you hit a tree root and the shaft of your 7-iron bends. What may you do?

Answer

Continue to use it, repair it or replace it with another club

If a club is damaged during the round other than by abuse, you may continue to use it, repair it or replace it. But you must not borrow the replacement from anyone playing on the course, and you must not unreasonably delay play. If you damaged the club in anger, you may only continue to use it.
