Ball falls off the tee at address: is there a penalty?
While addressing the ball, you accidentally knock it off the tee. What is the ruling?
Answer
No penalty, re-tee it
Before your first stroke the ball on the teeing area is not yet in play. If it falls off the tee, re-tee it anywhere in the teeing area without penalty.
