Can I lay a club down in a bunker?
You take two clubs into the bunker and lay down the one you do not need on the sand. What is the ruling?

No penalty, you may lay clubs down in a bunker
In a bunker you may lay down clubs or a rake and lean on a club. What is prohibited is testing the sand or touching it right in front of or behind the ball, in a practice swing or in the backswing.
