Rules question · Rule 2.2 · Medium
What are the five areas of the course?
The Rules divide the course into five areas. Which of these is not one of them?
Answer
Fairway
The five areas are the general area, the teeing area of the hole you are playing, all bunkers, all penalty areas and the putting green of the hole you are playing. Fairway and rough are not areas of their own, both are part of the general area.
