In four-ball I lifted my partner’s ball without marking: who gets the penalty?
In Four-Ball, you lift your partner’s ball on the putting green to clean it for them but forget to mark its spot first. Who gets the penalty?

Your partner, one penalty stroke
In Four-Ball you may take any action concerning your partner’s ball that they may take. But whatever you do with their ball is treated as their action. So your partner gets the penalty stroke for lifting without marking.
