In foursomes the wrong partner played: what is the penalty?

In foursomes stroke play you accidentally play when it was your partner’s turn. What is the ruling?

Answer

Two penalty strokes, your stroke does not count, and your partner plays from the same spot

If the wrong partner plays in foursomes, the side gets two penalty strokes. The stroke does not count, and the right partner plays from where the wrong stroke was made. The side is disqualified only if the mistake is not corrected before teeing off on the next hole.
