Can someone help me move a large branch?
Behind your ball in the rough lies a large fallen branch, too heavy for you alone. You break off a piece and drag the rest away with another player. What is the ruling?
Answer
No penalty
You may remove loose impediments anywhere without penalty, and in any way: with your hand, foot or club, with help from others, and you may also break off part of one. If your ball moves while you do so, you get one penalty stroke off the putting green and replace it.
