Must I use the dropping zone at a penalty area?
The club has set up a dropping zone at a pond. The Local Rule says nothing more about it. Must you use it if your ball is in the pond?

No, it is an extra option alongside the normal relief options
A dropping zone is normally an extra option, also for one penalty stroke. The usual relief options remain available. It is mandatory only if the Local Rule expressly says so.
