Local Rule for aeration holes: does it cover my line on the putting green?

On your course, a Local Rule gives relief from aeration holes. Your ball is on the putting green next to the holes, but there are several on your line of play. Do you get relief?

Answer

No, only if the ball lies in or touches an aeration hole

The Local Rule only helps if your ball lies in or touches an aeration hole. If the holes only interfere with your stance, your swing or, on the putting green, your line of play, there is no relief. You still may not repair aeration holes.
