How many penalty strokes does a penalty area cost?
You take relief from a penalty area. How many penalty strokes do you add?

Every relief option from a penalty area costs one penalty stroke, whether it is red or yellow and whichever option you choose. If you play the ball as it lies, there is no penalty. Free relief in a penalty area is only available for a dangerous animal condition.
