Ball moves when I remove the rake in a bunker: what now?
Your ball rests against a rake in a bunker. You remove the rake and the ball rolls away. What is the ruling?
Answer
No penalty, you replace the ball
If your ball moves while you remove a movable obstruction such as a rake, there is no penalty and you replace it. This applies anywhere on the course, including in a bunker. Loose impediments such as a leaf are different: if the ball moves while you remove one off the putting green, you get one penalty stroke.
