Ball comes to rest on a towel: what do I do?
Your ball comes to rest in the rough on a towel someone left behind. What do you do?
Answer
Lift the ball, remove the towel and drop within one club-length of the spot underneath, without penalty
If your ball lies on a movable obstruction, you lift it without penalty and remove the obstruction. Then drop within one club-length of the spot directly under where the ball lay, not nearer the hole.
