Another player’s ball is on my line: what can I do?
Another player’s ball lies on the putting green right on your line of play. What may you do?
Answer
Ask the player to mark and lift the ball
If another player’s ball interferes with you, you may require that player to mark its spot and lift it. Only that player, or someone they authorise, may lift it.
