Ball rolls out of the dropping zone: what now?
Your ball dropped in a dropping zone rolls just over its edge and comes to rest half a club-length outside it. What is the ruling?
Answer
You must drop again, the ball must come to rest in the dropping zone
With a dropping zone, the zone itself is the relief area. If the ball comes to rest outside it, you drop again. If it rolls out a second time, you place it where it first touched the ground on the second drop.
