Dropping zone: must I stand in it when dropping?
You take relief in a dropping zone marked by a white line. Do you have to stand in the dropping zone yourself when dropping?
Answer
No, only the ball must land and come to rest in the dropping zone, and the line is part of it
The dropping zone is your relief area. Where you stand does not matter. The ball must be dropped in the dropping zone and come to rest in it. If it is marked by a line, the line is part of the dropping zone.
