Found my ball and lost it again: does the search time restart?
After searching for two minutes, you find and identify your ball in deep rough. You go to your bag to get a club. When you come back, you cannot find the ball again. How much longer may you search?

One minute
The three-minute search time stops when you find the ball and continues when you search again. After two minutes, you therefore have one minute left. If you do not find it by then, it is lost.
