Four-ball: partner plays a wrong ball: who gets the penalty?

In four-ball stroke play your partner plays a wrong ball on a hole. Who gets the two penalty strokes?

Answer

Only your partner, whose score on that hole gets the penalty

In four-ball most penalties apply only to the player who breached the Rule. Your score on the hole is unaffected and can count for the side. You are only penalised too if the breach helps your play.
