Ball hits a golf cart: is there a penalty?
Your shot from the fairway hits a golf cart parked on the path and bounces back onto the fairway. What is the ruling?
Answer
No penalty, you play the ball as it lies
If your ball accidentally hits a person or an object, there is no penalty. Away from the putting green, you play the ball from where it comes to rest. You only replay a stroke in special cases on the putting green.
