Rules question · Rule 16.1 · Easy
Do I get relief if my ball is in a puddle?
After heavy rain your ball lies in a puddle on the fairway. What is the ruling?
Answer
You get free relief
A puddle outside a penalty area is temporary water. You get free relief from it: within one club-length of the nearest point where the water no longer interferes, not nearer the hole.
