Your ball lies on the fairway in a rabbit hole. What is the ruling?
Answer
You may take free relief
An animal hole is an abnormal course condition. In the general area you get free relief from it: you drop within one club-length of the nearest point of complete relief, not nearer the hole. In a penalty area this relief is not available.
