Play suspended for darkness: can I finish the hole?
In stroke play the Committee suspends play for darkness, not because of danger. Your group has already started the hole. You want to finish it, the other players want to stop. What is the ruling?
Answer
You may continue, as long as your marker stays and keeps your score
In a normal suspension a group that has already started a hole may finish it. In stroke play each player decides for themselves, but you need your marker to stay. In match play you must stop if your opponent stops. Nobody may start a new hole.
