Can I putt with an iron on the putting green?
Your putter broke on the last hole. May you putt with an iron on the putting green?
Answer
Yes, which club you putt with is up to you
The Rules do not say which club you must use for a stroke. On the putting green you may also putt with an iron, a wood or a wedge. It just has to be a club you are allowed to carry.
