What can I remove while my ball is still moving?
Your ball is still rolling after your stroke. Which of these may you remove before it comes to rest?
Answer
Your golf bag, which the ball is rolling towards
While a ball is in motion, you must not deliberately remove loose impediments or movable obstructions to affect where it might come to rest. That is two penalty strokes, even if it makes no difference. Equipment belonging to any player, such as your bag, is an exception, and so is a removed flagstick.
