Who can I ask for advice in golf?
In a competition, you are unsure which club to use. Whom may you ask for advice?
Answer
Your caddie or your partner
You may only ask your caddie for advice and, if you have one, your partner and your partner’s caddie. Asking another player for advice, such as which club they used, is the general penalty. You may, however, ask anyone about public information such as distances.
