Ball embedded in the slope above a bunker: where do I drop?

Your ball is embedded in its own pitch-mark in the grass face right above a bunker. The sand begins immediately behind the ball. What is the ruling?

Answer

You get relief, using the nearest spot in the general area not nearer the hole as the reference point

For a ball embedded in the general area you normally drop within one club-length of the spot right behind the ball. If that spot is not in the general area, you use the nearest spot in the general area that is not nearer the hole as the reference point. The relief area must always be in the general area.
