Relief from the rough: can I drop on the fairway?
Your ball lies on a sprinkler head in the rough. Your relief area extends onto the fairway. May you drop there?

Yes, that is your good fortune
Rough and fairway are both part of the general area. The relief area only has to be in the general area, not nearer the hole and give complete relief. If that gives you a better lie, it is your good fortune. Equally, your lie after taking relief may be worse.
