Can I brush away sand in front of my ball on the fairway?
There is sand on the fairway right in front of your ball. May you brush it away?
Answer
No, sand is not a loose impediment
You may remove sand and loose soil only on the putting green. In the general area it would improve your conditions and costs the general penalty.
