After the drop I still stand on the cart path: what now?
After dropping away from a cart path, you find one foot is on the path again when you address the ball. What is the ruling?
Answer
Relief was not complete, you must take relief again correctly
Free relief must be complete: in the relief area the path must not interfere with your lie, stance or swing. If you are standing on the path again, the ball is not correctly in the relief area and you must drop again.
