Can I touch my line of play on the putting green?
When addressing the ball on the putting green, may you ground your putter in front of the ball on your line of play?
Answer
Yes, as long as you do not improve the line
Since 2019 you may touch your line of play and ground your putter lightly in front of the ball. You must not improve the line, for example by pressing down the grass.
